Alnwick sports awards set to return with nominees hoping to emulate these 2011 winners

The Alnwick & District Sports Council’s annual sports awards are set to return.

The celebration of the outstanding achievements of our district’s exceptional sporting successes takes place on February 9 at Alnwick Playhouse.

Guest of honour and speaker is Olympic, European and Commonwealth middle-distance runner, Laura Weightman – who features in this look back at the 2011 event!

Suzanne Horn, Carolyn Britton, Ami Cook, Lucy Lincoln, Rachel Murray and Tracey Graham from Alnwick Hockey Club collected the Senior Team Award.
