City Dental is run by technicians Colin Caster and Mark Maley, who between them have 50 years of experience in the industry. They opened their first clinic 10 years ago, and it has built a strong following, making A-line Dental Services – the laboratory they first set up – the largest independent in the North East and the first in the UK to be ISO quality standard registered.
Colin has strong local roots, having begun his career in the oral surgery department at Middlesbrough General Hospital. Mark has lots of industry expertise, and has previously served on the advisory and examination boards for his profession.
They decided to create City Dental, a private clinic staffed by qualified dentists, dental nurses, hygienists, and backed up with the on-site technician service, to offer an accessible and affordable private service in the North East.

The full team includes an oral surgeon for dental implants, general dentists for bridges, veneers, straightening and everyday dental check-ups and fixes, five nurses and two hygienists.

One of the unique services is access to clinical dental technicians on site … they can measure, produce and fit dentures in house, making the entire process seamless and swift.
