As it was a Number Day, pupils wore non-uniform with a number theme and they gave staff a donation in order to do so. They did a range of maths activities in the morning.

The NSPCC ran workshops with Years 5 and 6 before Christmas and pupils in these year groups did something extra to raise more money – a 90-minute sponsored Zumbathon – in the afternoon.

A representative from the NSPCC visited the school on a later day to receive a cheque for £1132.22.

Pupils in 6G were awarded a certificate for being the top fund-raising class.

The NSPCC works to prev-ent the abuse and neglect of children and help those affected to recover.
