Students engineer a career in software
MSP welcomed a group of students from the town’s Duchess’s Community High School and Newcastle University to give them a taste of what a career in software development involves.
They took part in a number of practical challenges and learnt how MSP revolutionises the manufacturing processes of major global companies – including BAE Systems and three leading Formula 1 teams – through its NC-Checker and NC-PerfectPart software.

“There are so many opportunities a career in software development could open for them. It can be an exciting profession full of challenges and possibilities, and the skills you learn through software engineering are transferable in many different industries and sectors.
“It is vital we continually look to the future, and we realise that young talented people living or studying locally can help drive MSP forward to continued levels of success and development.
