Hide AdHowever, renovations have now come to a halt to help prevent the further spread of coronavirus.
Michael said: “Due to the current situation all work at the Black has been put on hold with a view to restarting in the autumn
“We’re now concentrating as best we can to try and support our local community around Beadnell and Seahouses by offering a free food delivery and a prescription delivery service to the elderly and vulnerable.”
Part of the plan by Neil Wilson Design is to extend into the existing open area/lean-to roofed courtyard space, enclosing the structure to provide year-round seating.

Hide AdEfforts will also be made to maximise views across the harbour, while the bar will be extended to facilitate a bespoke cocktail menu.There will also be an extended kitchen fully fitted with new equipment and extraction with a higher level of noise and odour control.The scheme will create four additional full-time and up to six more seasonal jobs.
