Milestone for family-friendly business
Pot a Doodle Do near Scremerston celebrated its 20th anniversary last weekend, having opened in May 2000.
The licensed restaurant serves locals and tourists breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and home-made cakes and traybakes.
Pottery painting has been enjoyed by many over the years and there are several guests who come back year on year with their children to paint another piece to add to their collection.
Pot a Doodle Do is also home to 27 wooden wigwams and three canvas yurts – all of which prove very popular throughout the year.
Owners Christine and John Whiteford were disappointed that they could not celebrate in style, but pleased to be able to thank all those who have come and enjoyed the experience through this article.
They added: “We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing it with you.
“We look forward to continuing to innovate and create a happy and relaxing environment for all to enjoy.”
