Colourful new addition to Amble retail offer with opening of Puffin Crafts

Alison Hardy has opened Puffin Crafts on the A1068 next to the Londis shop and Esso garage.

After a ‘fantastic’ first day, she said: “Thank you to everyone who called in and supported me and a big thank you for all the good wishes, shares, comments and likes; your support really does mean the world to me.”

The shop sells wood craft kits, pom poms and much more.

Alison is hoping the growing popularity of crafting during the pandemic will continue.

“Nothing beats that sense of achievement you feel when you finish a project you’ve worked so hard at,” she said.

“It’s the same for children and a fab way to get them off their screens!”

She added: “Our craft kits have everything you need to get started and after that, lots more you can make for your next project.”
