Road to reopen tonight following completion of gasworks
In January, Northern Gas Networks (NGN) began work to replace 250 metres of ageing metal gas mains in Bondgate Within and Narrowgate with more durable plastic pipes.
The road closure on Narrowgate will be reopened by this evening and the team will leave the site as found. On Monday, road-sweepers will ensure the streets are returned to a clean and tidy condition.
