Railway gears up for summer with events to keep everyone entertained
Aln Valley Railway will be hosting Music in the Loco Shed on Sunday, May 29, with numerous acts performing.
The Alnwick Playhouse Concert Band will be playing big band music with some railway content and Voicebeat, a choir singing folk, gospel and reggae songs will set feet tapping.

Hide AdAmi Huntley, a popular solo singer from Alnwick, will serenade with her remarkable voice and Fiona Fairnington, a solo singer from Wooler, will perform songs from the repertoires of Fleetwood Mac, Marianne Faithful, Joan Baez, Bruce Springsteen and Tina Turner among others.
Acts will be on stage from 12.30pm.
The end of May Bank Holiday weekend will also see steam locomotives operating.
And next month the railway will be hosting its annual vintage and classic vehicle weekend.
Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, will see the vehicles from vintage tractors to classic cars on show throughout the day.
