The Schooner Inn, on North Street, has been extensively damaged in a blaze which took place in the early hours of Tuesday, March 10.
Crews from Alnwick, Belford and Seahouses were called to the popular pub after shortly before 1.30am, along with workers from Northern Powergrid and Northern Gas Networks.

Hide AdA investigation has now been launched into the cause of the fire, lead by Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service and Northumbria Police.
And now footage has shown the blaze at its height as firefighters work to extinguish the flames.
The video, captured by of Collingwood Gardens, goes on to show the severe extent of the damage caused to the pub in the aftermath of the fire.
It is expected to take months before it can reopen.
A Northumbria Police spokesman added: “Both occupants of the house were out at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

Hide Ad“The property did, however, receive extensive damage, as did neighbouring properties.”
Catherine said: “We don’t know for sure how much damage there is, but we know it’s bad.
“The storage area for the bar got the worst of it, but there’s also a lot of smoke and water damage to the front.
“It’s going to be months, not weeks, before it can reopen.”
