Four arrested as armed police called to disturbance in Blyth
Pictures taken at the scene show armed police in the area of Broadway Circle, Blyth, after a group, believed to be in possession of a bladed article, smashed a window of an address before fleeing.
Northumbria Police has confirmed two males and two females were arrested on Saturday, May 8, but have since been released with no further action to be taken.

Hide AdThe force has confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident, which occurred at around 5.15pm on Saturday evening.
Officers say an investigation into the disturbance is ongoing and have asked anyone with any information or who may have witnesses the incident to contact police online or by calling 101.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson told the Gazette: “At 5.15pm yesterday (Saturday) we received a report of a disturbance in the area of Broadway Circle, Blyth.
“It was reported that a group of individuals believed to be in possession of a bladed article had smashed a window of an address, before making off from the scene.

Hide Ad“Police were deployed to the area supported by the National Police Air Service (NPAS). Two males and two females were arrested but have since been released with no further action to be taken.
"Nobody was injured in the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.
