Butcher shop a cut above
Last Tuesday, John Skelly, of WR Skelly and Sons, was presented with the Small Business of the Year prize awarded by Berwick Rotary Club.
Chris Hardie, who retired as club president last month, said it was a remarkable effort and would give a boost to the beleaguered Marygate. It was fantastic to keep a firm going so long.

The club was thanked by John.
Berwick Rotary Club’s Large Business of the Year award went to Tustain Motors, and the Jubilee Trophy, to a person who has made a significant contribution to the town, went to Lee Mace, who created the wooden boat sculpture by the River Tweed.
