Hide AdKarl Brunton, managing director of Amble Marina Ltd, said: “Throughout the lockdown period, customers and staff have adhered to government guidelines whilst a skeleton team of staff have continued to carry out all necessary security rounds on a daily basis.
“In light of the recent changes to restrictions regarding travel and exercise we expect to begin to welcome customers back to the marina from Wednesday, if it is safe for them to do so.
“Customers are asked to adhere to the measures still in place (maintaining a two metre distance) and we have implemented new procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
“We have taken the decision to remain closed to visiting boats until further guidance has been provided.”

Hide AdHe added: “Our customers and staff have been hugely supportive and understanding during this difficult time.
“We will continue to work together to ensure the safety and well-being of customers, staff and the wider community by following the guidelines set by government.”
In January, the company revealed it was moving forward with site expansion plans by moving its fence line.
The extra space on site provides room for more boat storage, car parking and for its developing boat yard.
