Winners of Northumberland bakery's inaugural cake-making competition are revealed
and live on Freeview channel 276
The event was organised by well-known cake maker Colyn Pentleton, whose family run The Farm Bakery shops in Alnwick and Amble.
He wanted to give people the chance to showcase their talents and relieve a bit of lockdown boredom in what should have been the half-term holidays.

Hide AdColyn said: “The competition was a great success. We revealed the winners live on Facebook on Sunday with hundreds of live viewers, and over 3000 views in 24 hours.
"We loved seeing their cakes and had a brilliant time judging them.”
The winners were: Jakob Gilroy (under 5s), Ava Stewart (5-10years), Hannah Gerard (11-16years) and Daisy Frater (viewers vote).
Jakob made a farmyard cake and judges praised his brilliant use of props; Ava’s unicorn rainbow cake was praised for its use of vibrant colours; Hannah’s heart-shaped cake was praised for its excellent use of white chocolate fingers; and Daisy’s burger cake was described as ‘brilliantly effective’.
