According to the figures, 87 coronavirus deaths were confirmed in Northumberland up until April 17.

Hide AdThree areas have recorded six deaths each, the joint highest - Longhoughton and Alnmouth; Amble, Shilbottle and Swarland; and Guide Post and Stakeford.
The ONS data only includes deaths which occurred between March 1- April 17 and deaths where coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributing factor.
The information is based on details collected when the deaths were registered and does not reflect the actual location of the deaths.
