The Scotsman Rugby Show: Episode 11

Waiting for Video...

THE last Scotsman Rugby Show of 2012 looks back on some of the best club action in recent weeks, the stunning try by George Graham for Gala in their famous win over Moseley in the British and Irish Cup one of a number of good scores by Scottish clubs.

Tim Visser introduces the show and joins Glasgow duo Rob Harley and Ryan Grant in looking back at a 2012 that brought that trio Scotland Test debut, and tries for two, and they look forward to the 1872 Cup matches and fresh rivalry over the next fortnight.

Jim Telfer is also back with his recollections of an international career that brought highs and lows in a Scotland and British and Irish Lions jersey, and he reveals his boyhood hero, toughest opponent and his favourite Scotland player of all time.

Next month we will kick off 2013 with a new feature on Scotland’s leading club sides, first turning the spotlight on the work being done by Aberdeen GSFP to drive rugby in the north-east, and will feature a compilation of some of the best tries scored in 2012.

Have a good Christmas ... after we witness a great 1872 Cup match at Scotstoun on Friday night, hopefully.
