ALL the results from the local clubs.

GOSWICK: David Blackie ran out winner of Winter Comp No.2 last weekend with 44 points. Second was Steve Archibald on 40 points, third Mike Robertson 39 and in fourth place was Eric Johnson with 38. Eric lifted the pot in the Simmons Stableford Sweep with 38 points, second was Frank Dempster on 36 on count back from Andrew (Doc) Reilly also with 36.

Members are reminded that the Turkey Trot competition starts today (Thursday 15) and will run throughout the remaining winter months. Entries and details available through Paul in the Pro Shop.

DOGLEG

MAGDALENE FIELDS: Paul Richardson pushed Gus Ferguson into second place on the back nine when they both scored 41 points in Saturday’s stableford. John Gall had third best with 40 points.

The November medal also went to the back nine with Des Simpson winning with 79-12-67 ahead of Sandy McEwan who returned 75-8-67. Gus Ferguson made the frame again grabbing third spot with 82-13-69. Sean Jackson took the gross with 69+1-70.

The second qualifying round of the Ron Byrom winter stableford knockout competition is this Sunday.
