Friendly match ‘too close to call’

A GROUP of young karate members form Berwick Bu Bujin club made the short trip to visit Duns Karate club (also Bu Bujin).

After a light training session the youngsters ranging from 6 to 13 made up four teams of different age groups to form a friendly Sport karate match. The match produced some exciting and competitive fights, the young students had to demonstrate speed, timing, control, technique and very high skill levels to win a fight, the two clubs were evenly matched and the outcome was really too close to call, The re-match will be held in Berwick in the New Year, anyone wishing to learn karate can contact the club on 01289 303419 or visit www.bubujinkarate.co.uk.
