Athletics - PB for Cox in Basel

Local athlete, 15 year old Nathan Cox, who runs for Gala Harriers and attends Berwick Academy,travelled to Basel in Switzerland to take part in the annual Basel Stadlauf 1.6km street race.

Nathan was the only Brittish representive in his age group and ran a fine race to finish in a great second place with a new personal best time of 4mins 39secs. This was his first time running in front of such a huge crowd (5000+) and has been a great experience for him.
