THREE youngsters from Berwick Rugby Club have gained County representative honours.
Ben Frost, Robert Exley and Ben Black played for Northumberland colts (u-17's) in the 10's tournament against Cumbria and Durham at Tynedale RFC. Each County fielded two sides, as a development structure with a view to next season's U18 squad, giving the players potentially four games each.
All three Berwick boys were used, with Ben Frost playing four games for Northumberland 1, whilst Robert Exley and Ben Black represented Northumberland 2, with both getting on the score sheet. North 1 won all their games whilst North 2 won two, lost one and drew one.
All three lads are the product of Berwick's youth system which is one of the most envied in the north and the club would like to thank the boys' parents and all the coaches and volunteers who have helped them get to this stage.
Anyone who is interested in playing or helping at the club can find out more by logging on to www.berwickrugbyclub.co.uk
