SHILBOTTLE are the winners of the Berwick Charities Cup for 2008.
In Saturday's final at The Stanks they beat local side Berwick Amigo's 3-2 after a close and hard-fought match.
The cup was presented by Paul Dixon, a sports reporter with Radio Newcastle, who scored two goals in the 1984 final for Forest Hall.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Crammond Cup was won by the recently formed Berwick Town, who will play in the North Northumberland League next season.
They beat Springhill 5-1 with a competent performance, having previously seen off the challenge of Tweedmouth Colts 4-0 in the semi's.
