TWEEDMOUTH JUNS .........6
ARNISTON RANGERS ........0
TWEEDMOUTH played only their third game since early December and were back on form as they demolished Arniston with a fine display. They never lokked in trouble and Oliver Black in go
al was hardly troubled all game.
Grant Leiper opened the scoring followed by a fine finish from Cameron Laidlaw. Sean Dixon then scored a great header and the first half score was completed when Josh Gunn slotted home after good interplay with Morgan Noon.
The second half was all Tweedmouth and Dixon added his second with a fine solo run and superb finish. Ryan Tait completed the rout with a thunderbolt of a penalty after Gunn was tripped in the box.
The score would have been into double figures had it not been for an outstanding display from the visiting keeper, whose attitude and commitment put the rest of his bad tempered teammates to shame, as was seen when the skipper was sent off for foul and abusive language.

Previous results have beemn a 1-0 defeat away to AC Oxgangs and a 4-1 win away to Peebles.

NEWCASTLE CITY INTER ..2
BERWICK RJ .......................3
BERWICK started the first half with a strong wnd blowing in their faces, but 15 minutes into the half, after a goalmouth scramble, the ball fell to Jonathon Gillie who fired the young Rangers in front.
A second goal soon followed when a ball chipped into the box found Kristian Dixon, who took a touch and finished well.
Berwick almost got a third when Harry Borthwick chipped the keeper, but his shot hit the crossbar.
Newcastle then won a free kick which was goalbound, but was well saved by Joseph Riach.
Inter hit back five minutes into the second half to make it 2-1, and the game then developed in end to end play with chances for both sides.
Berwick went 3-1 in front when a long throw into the box found James Keenan who finished well, but the home side pulled one back with five minutes to go, meaning Berwick had to defend well in the closing stages to ensure the win.

SEAHOUSES .......................2
BELFORD MIDDLE ..............2
AFTER a 3-1 reverse in the previous fixture between these two sides, St Mary's were hoping for an improved performance at Seahouses.
They got off to the worst possible start, however, with Seahouses scoring with almost the first attack of the game. A second quickly followed leaving the home team two up after ten minutes. St Mary's could have crumbled but they galvanised themselves, got the ball down and started playing football. George Clarke was making inroads with some tricky wing play on the right, Gareth Davies was keeping the midfield in shape and Matthew Hunter was making bursting runs from defence with increasing regularity.
It was Hunter indeed who scored first for St. Mary's. After more good work from Clarke, Jordan Briggs took over. He drew his player before firing a sharp pass across the edge of the penalty area where his brother Josh neatly stepped over the ball allowing Hunter to hit a looping shot that sailed over the diminutive keeper.
More chances for each team followed before Josh Briggs latched onto a through ball to calmly loft his finish over Seahouses' goalkeeper for a well-deserved equaliser.
St Mary's applied plenty pressure in the second half but couldn't break through a well-organised home defence and they almost succumbed to swift counter-attacking play. Kyle Lawler did well to break up several Seahouses attacks with quick interventions and James Grieve alongside him was again rock-solid.
Man-of-the-match was Josh Briggs; his running and movement were a constant thorn in the side of Seahouses and Hunter picked up most-improved-player with a valiant display.

BERWICK RJ .......................5
BEDLINGTON ......................1
BERWICK always looked the stronger of the two sides and took maximum points with a thoroughly deserved victory.
They started well and keeping possession of the ball they opened the scoring through Barnett.
Lister added a second, before Strang struck twice, and the scoring was completed by Hope, who netted after Bedlington had pulled a goal back.
