MP visits Northumberland holiday park to check out reopening safety measures

The Berwick MP visited Waren Caravan & Camping Park, near Bamburgh, to see for herself what it is like for visitors following the further easing of lockdown measures.
The MP met general manager Darren Williams and regional director Alex Benson, who showed her around the day before reopening.

Hide AdShe also spoke to staff about the challenges they had overcome to ensure the park could open with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
Anne-Marie said: “I was delighted to be invited to see the preparations that the park’s management were taking to welcome visitors again.
“It was clear to me that a lot of care and planning had been undertaken to ready the park for visitors and to ensure everyone can enjoy the facilities safely.
“All the staff were very positive and were looking forward to welcoming visitors again.

Waren Caravan & Camping Park is located on the headland above Budle Bay Nature Reserve, with stunning coastal views of Holy Island and Bamburgh.
Safety measures it has implemented include extra cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures and promoting social distancing.
