Tractor stolen from Tweedmouth Trading Estate

Police are appealing for information after a tractor was stolen in Tweedmouth.

The theft happened at just after 12.15am, on the Tweedside Trading Estate, on Sunday, July 20.

The offender entered the yard before driving away across fields with the green John Deere tractor.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and bailed pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward as the investigation into the theft continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 572 20/07/14, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are targeting opportunist thieves as part of the forcewide campaign Operation Soundwave.
