More entries are wanted for the Tweedmouth Feast float parade, taking place on Sunday, July 20.
It follows the traditional crowning of the salmon queen on Thursday, July 17.
“The Float Parade is as popular with the public as it ever was but we want more participants, especially from Tweedmouth,” said Jim Herbert, chairman of the Tweedmouth Feast Committee.
“I’ve had a lot of enquiries about it but we would love to see some new faces.
“Such is the draw of the event that the team behind the many winning Brown Bear floats, though retired from the pub, are rumoured to still be taking part!”
The parade will start from Wallace Green at 2pm and finish at the West End carnival at about 3.30pm.
Any organisations or individuals throughout Tweedmouth, Berwick and Spittal planning to join in this wonderful carnival should register their interest by contacting Jim Herbert on 07595 465284 or emailing email@example.com.
