Belford’s annual truck pull took place on Easter Sunday with a strong turnout.
Organised by the Salmon Inn all monies raised were donated to the charity the “Make A Wish” Foundation, an organisation which provides events and visits for children with terminal diseases.
The winners were local team the Super heroes captained by Mark Bryden who is no stranger himself to being behind the wheel of a wagon.
The event was blessed with fine weather and hundreds of people lined the main street to watch three teams pull the truck the length of the course.
“We would like to thank everyone for helping out and taking part.” said landlord ‘Crockett’ Henderson.
“Once again special thanks to Stephen Ions for the loan of his truck and driving it with the safety factor always in mind as teams were pulling the wagon.”
The Superheroes who won the annual truck pull were Alan Sinton, Paul Bryden, Mark Bryden, David King, Matty Milburn and John Angus.
