More than 200 spectacularly loved vintage Lambrettas congregated by Seahouses Lifeboat Station for the start of the Lambretta Club of Great Britain’s Coast to Coast. Bikers from all parts of the country set off from the harbour for the charity rally in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The rally will take a truly cross-country route to Silloth on the Solway coast of Cumbria, via Holy Island and Coldstream. Organisers said: “Everyone who spent time in Seahouses was made welcome wherever we ate, drank, slept or camped. We were helped by the RNLI and the Harbourmaster: we wish to thank them and the businesses and people of Seahouses for their hospitality. We had a great time and would hope to return in the future.”
