Police lent their support to the Berwick Goldwing biking parade last weekend, in aid of a good cause.
Neighbourhood officers from Berwick joined hundreds of visitors at the Parade car park in the town, where scores of Goldwing bikes of various sizes were on display with funds raised going to Berwick RNLI.
Many people got into the spirit of the event and dressed as characters including Minions, Smurfs and even an early appearance from Santa Claus. CSO Gail Cassidy, pictured, met some Minion visitors.
As well as the bikes there were plenty of stalls, including a tombola, rides for the children and music. The bikes then took part in an illuminated parade around the town and rounded the event off with a spectacular fireworks display.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Steve Crane said: “It was a great day out and everyone had a good time and enjoyed having their photos taken with the bikes and characters. It was nice to see lots of smiling faces with everyone having fun and raising money for a good local cause.
“Officers spent time chatting to locals and visitors alike, its good to take part in these community events which give people the opportunity to get to meet neighbourhood officers.”
