A health roadshow organised by NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is visiting Berwick on Thursday, May 22.
The ‘Healthy Northumberland roadshow, which will be at the Swan centre from 4pm-7pm, aims to find out peoples’ health and care priorities for the next five years, and ask them to participate in a survey.
Dr Alistair Blair, chief clinical officer of Northumberland CCG, said: “This is an opportunity for people across Northumberland to have their say and to shape the future design and delivery of health and care services in our area.
“This isn’t just about health and care in the traditional sense of hospitals, GP practices, nurses, social workers and care homes, it’s about overall wellbeing, and the steps we can take together to improve that.
“This could include better access to gyms, improved guidance on nutrition, helping to reduce smoking or drinking, or using alternative methods to help you live a healthier life. Whatever ideas you have, we want to hear them.
“So come along and tell us what matters most to you and your family - your feedback matters, and by taking part you are helping us shape the future direction of health and care in Northumberland.
“The community events we are organising will give you an opportunity to meet us, and give your views on how we can develop our services in the future.
“We need to be able to do more with the resources we have, so it’s vital we continue to understand what people want to ensure their health and care needs are met.”
If you would like to participate in the survey, and for further information visit www.healthynorthumberland.co.uk. The survey will be available until Monday, June 9.
