Tweedmouth Feast begins next Thursday with the crowning of salmon queen Lauren Dixon.

There will be a Feast pub crawl event at 7.30pm on Friday, July 18, starting at The Grove and visiting the many and varied hostelries of Tweedmouth.

And it’s still not too late to create a float (or other entry) for the parade on Sunday, July 20. Be at Wallace Green car park for 1.30pm for judging before the 2pm start.

“We are all looking forward to this year’s Tweedmouth Feast events.”, said Jim Herbert, Chair of the Tweedmouth Feast Committee. “Our Salmon Queen for this year, Lauren Dixon, and her attendants have been busy choosing their dresses and the committee has been beavering away in the background with last minute details.”

The pub crawl is very informal affair; participants take it at there own pace. Entry is £2 and the money raised will go to local charities. (Please pub crawl responsibly!)

Please contact info@tweedmouthfeast.org.uk or phone 07595 465284 for further details.
