Faith Sharples gets set to admire the view from the 'Window on Wild Lindisfarne' on Holy Island

Come to the Window on Wild Lindisfarne on Wednesday, April 16 from 11am-3pm to make fun crafts such as flapping lapwings and lobster door-guards and play bird bingo.

The event has been organised by Natural England staff based on the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve.

They will be on hand to help visitors get creative and find out more about the wildlife of the reserve. From inside the building, you can view birds enjoying the flooded scrape and pond – the reserve team will help you spot the different species.

Please be prepared for all weather. Bring a drink/snack. Children must be accompanied and dogs on short leads welcome.

Drop-in anytime at the Window on Wild Lindisfarne Building, on the Harbour Road between the village and the castle.
