Have your say

THE last week has been particularly difficult at the kennels with the snow making a lot of extra work.

Most of the dogs still enjoy their walks but there are one or two, namely Rollie and Cherrie, who really would prefer to be tucked up in their beds.

Rollie is a very handsome four year-old staffie who is now walking very well on lead and would suit a home with older children. Cherrie is a nine-year-old Shih Tzu who needs a bit of time to meet any one new. She’s had a nice new hair cut this week and is looking very smart.

We have two Bobbies in. One is an easy going three-year-old Parsons Jack Russell type. He appears to get on with everyone but does not like to be left home alone. Bobby mark two is a one-year-old Westie who has had a few problems with children, so a child free home will be essential.

We have three beautiful lurcher/greyhound types. They have all been with us a while and we’ve no idea why. Rocco, who is the biggest, has beautiful markings almost like a tiger. Buzz is black and loves his bed and a cuddle. Millie has a lot of white and is very enthusiastic about life but still loves to curl up in her warm bed. All walk well on lead, although Millie is only a youngster and a bit more excitable on lead.

Monty and Twinkle are seven-month-old litter mates. These young cats are friendly and affectionate but ideally we would like to rehome them together.

Betty is around three or four and has had a really rough time. With a bit of extra tlc her coat is beginning to get a sheen on it and she is now ready to go to a new home. Tiddles is a long haired three-year-old boy who does not, fortunately, match his name. A friendly boy, who, like all the cats listed this week, is black and white.
