Bank holiday bin collections

DAVID FOX FROM BROOMHOUSE WHO IS COMPLAINING LOCALLY ABOUT HIS COUNCIL BIN COLLECTION. REFUSE WORKERS ARE REFUSING TO EMPTY BINS WHICH ARE LITERALLY AN INCH OPEN.  DAID SAYS IF THE LID OF THE WHEELIE BIN IS NOT COMPLETELY CLOSED THE BINS ARE NOT BEING EMPTIED.  THE COLLECTIONS ARE EVERY TWO WEEKS AND IS RESULTING IN LITTER BEING STREWN AROUND THE AREA.

Bin collections across Northumberland will be one day late due to the bank holiday next week.

Monday collections will take place on Tuesday, Tuesday’s on Wednesday, Wednesday’s on Thursday and Thursday’s on Friday.

The day changes affect all collections, including recycling, general rubbish and garden waste.
