A new development of 12 rent-only apartments at Woolmarket in Berwick town centre will be available from next month.
Arch Homes, a subsidiary of Northumberland County Council’s arms-length development company, has acquired the apartments in the old post office building at Woolmarket.
This is part of Arch Homes’ strategy to diversify and enhance its portfolio of new homes across Northumberland. It is the county’s largest private housing landlord.
The apartments range from one to three bedrooms, are decorated and carpeted throughout and offer affordable living with no compromise on design.
Arch is leading the regeneration effort in Berwick to re-develop key sites and create a better environment for traders and visitors.
Peter McIntyre, Arch Group Managing Director, said: “We need a lot more homes to rent and buy in Northumberland where the need for quality, rented properties is currently exceeding the current market supply.
