Televisions stolen from Haggerston

POLICE are investigating after televisions were stolen from caravans in north Northumberland

It happened at Haggerston Castle holiday park near Berwick

The thefts happened between noon on Sunday, February 24, and 9am on Thursday, February 28.

Fifteen televisions - both 26-inch and 22-inch models worth almost £2,000 in total - were stolen.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the thefts or saw anything suspicious at the caravan park between those dates to get in touch.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who knows the whereabouts of the televisions, which it is thought would have been removed from the park using a vehicle.

Anyone with information about where the televisions are or who the people involved is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
