Police seek public’s help in identifying lap-top thief

POLICE are appealing for information after a lap-top was stolen from the Co-op in Berwick last week.

The lap-top was taken from the Castlegate store some time between 12.20pm and 12.40pm on Tuesday, January 15, when a man took it out of a display box and stole it from the shop.

The thief is described as a white male, six feet tall, slim build with tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a grey hooded top, grey track suit bottoms, a black body warmer and a dark deer stalker hat.

PC Boyd is keen to speak to anybody who witnessed this incident or may be able to identify the suspect.
