Witness appeal after car tyres stabbed
POLICE in Wooler have appealed for witnesses or information after two cars were damaged last week.
Overnight between Monday and Tuesday, January 23 and 24, all four tyres on a black Vauxhall Corsa were stabbed at The Martins.
Over the same period similar damage was caused to the tyres of a Peugeot car parked in Weetwood Avenue. As yet it is unclear as to whether or not the two incidents are linked.
Police have appealed for anyone with information or any witnesses to contact Northumbria Police on the non-emergency 101 number.
Courses on offer at community centre
Northumberland Adult Learning Service based at Berwick Community Centre is offering a selection of Saturday workshops for adult learners on February 4 and 11 from 9.30am-12.30pm. (NB learners sign up for both dates).
Workshops on offer include: Adobe Photoshop, Aromatherapy and Acupressure, Basic Guide to PC Management, Feltmaking, i-Pad Mad, Drawing and Painting, Proggy Mat Making and Card Making.

Man arrested after alleged pub incident
A LOCAL man is on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
The 47 year-old was arrested by police after they were called to the Leaping Salmon in Golden Square, Berwick on Saturday following an alleged incident where a number of bottles of spirits and optics were damaged.
Barber shop plans renovations
plans for alterations to windows and doors at a barber shop on Castlegate have been welcomed by Berwick Town Council.
A decision will be taken by county planners.
