History film being put together by Embleton Guides

EMBLETON Guides are putting together a film on the past, and present, of Embleton, Craster, Christon Bank and Newton.

The guides would like to talk to anyone who has either an interesting story to tell, or can just describe what life used to be like around here. For example, how did they manage without a car and television?

They would be particularly interested in talking to anyone who has lived here a long time, but also anyone at all who lives or works here now and is willing to be interviewed.

Monica Cornall of Embleton Guides said: “We hope the film will be of interest to future generations and will be fun to make, giving the Guides some experience of using filming equipment and interviewing people.”

If you would like to be involved please contact Monica on 01665 576890.
