Flodden 1513 workshops aim to help local businesses
Flodden Memorial comemorates the Battle of Flodden in 1513, seen here with Branxton village in the background.
ORGANISERS of the Flodden 1513 Project are leading a rallying cry to promote the places and people involved in the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Flodden.
They are hosting two free workshops at Pallinsburn House on March 21 to help local event organisers and companies learn more about Flodden to maximise the business and marketing opportunities available through Flodden 1513.
The first session, from 2pm to 4pm, will show local businesses how they can benefit from their Flodden connection and update them on the scope of the project. The second, an interactive workshop from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, will show event organisers how to spread the word about their own particular project. All participants will be given their own Flodden toolkit to take away with them.
Places must be reserved in advance and a downloadable booking form is available at www.flodden1513.com
