Council election candidates wanted

County Hall, Morpeth, headquarters for Northumberland County Council.

Nominations for parish, town and county councillor are to be open from March 25 to April 5.

It will be the first county council election since 2008. Candidates will compete for a total of 67 council seats.

In addition, hundreds of seats are up for grabs on parish and town councils.

Residents interested in standing can access more information at www.northumberland.gov.uk/vote.
