Berwick women wanted for role
GRACE, the Northumberland Sexual Violence Project, is looking for women from the Berwick area who would like to volunteer as members of its new initiative, the Northumberland Advisory Board.
The purpose of the Member role is to provide support and advice to the staff and trustees of Grace. This support and advice will ensure that Grace focuses on the needs of women survivors of sexual violence in Northumberland and becomes embedded as a key service for women survivors in Northumberland.
Whilst this role is intended to be purely advisory rather than decision making or directional, it might particularly interest you if you wish to operate at a strategic level without the formal responsibilities associated with most strategic roles. It will also suit women who are interested - from a personal development perspective - in moving into a board level role and who would like some informal experience of strategic work to prepare them for a Board role in the future.
