Union Brae gets the thumbs up
UNION Brae and Norham Surgery has revealed that 83 per cent of all patient ratings about the practice were either good, very good or excellent.
The findings, from the annual patient survey, also show that the overall satisfaction rate was down from last year – from 74 per cent to 71 per cent.
The surgery is also one per cent lower than the national average for similar sized practices.
The areas where it scored least well in were: seeing a GP within 48 hours; general telephone access and speaking to a GP on the phone Its highest scoring areas were: time given for the appointment and information about services.
The results have been discussed with the practice team and patient group and an action plan has been put together.
