REGULAR readers of the Berwick Advertiser who have taken out a one-year voucher subscription are saving 25% on the cover price – and never miss an edition.
An annual subscription costs just £31.20. That works out at 60p a copy, rather than 80p, and if your newsagent has a delivery service you will save unnecessary hassle as well as money.
The service is operated by all newsagents, including Richardson’s on Castlegate.
Owner Kevin Richardson is proud of being in charge of the longest-running newsagents in Berwick.
Because he offers a newspaper delivery service all around the town, readers who have subscribed to the Berwick Advertiser for 12 months and use Richardson’s are paying only 60p for each copy their paper and having it delivered straight to their door each week.
Kevin said: “It has never been so easy to reserve your copies of The Berwick Advertiser. People love the simplicity of it. Subscribe online and they receive vouchers in the post which they hand in to me. That means they are saving 25% on each copy of the paper.”
Reader Frank Dempster agrees. He said: “I would advise anybody to use this subscription service. It’s really handy having the direct debit, because you don’t have to worry about anything. Plus it saves me money.”
Subscriptions can be taken out for six or 12 months and are paid for by direct debit. That means eliminating the need for renewal notices.
Subscribe online by visiting the website or telephone 0844 991 6464 (lines open Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm & Saturday 9am to 1pm).
After you have subscribed online or over the phone, you will receive a wallet of pre-paid vouchers in the post, which you can exchange at any newsagent for your newspaper.
Subscriptions will be paid every six months on a recurring basis by direct debit and you can cancel at any time.
