Outings and events as charity group celebrates 10th anniversary

Have your say

The Headway brain injury charity group based in Berwick enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Farne Islands on Wednesday, September 7.

Eighteen members went on the high seas, courtesy of Toby and Andy, who operate Serenity Tours at Seahouses.

The charity would like to say a big thank you to the pair for making the day so exciting and memorable.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary this year, the group has enjoyed a variety of outings locally.

It has also held regular meetings at St Cuthbert’s Hall every third Wednesday of the month.

The group is grateful to all the many local businesses, as well as each individual, who has supported it over the years.

Members are planning a sponsored walk on Sunday, September 25, from Berwick to Eyemouth.

Please contact Alastair White, group co-ordinator, on 07766 666015 for more information about its activities.
