Residential home boss departs after five years

Denise Black is leaving after five years as manager of Berwick Abbeyfield Society's Bankhill House residential home

DENISE Black, manager of Berwick Abbeyfield Society’s Bankhill House residential home for active elderly people, has left to take up an appointment in Scotland.

Marjorie Hardie, chairman of the Berwick Abbeyfield Society excecutive committee, presented Mrs Black with parting gifts and flowers and thanked her for her five years of excellent service

She wished her every success in her new post. Mrs Black said was proud to have managed such a well-appointed, well-sited and comfortable house with a dedicated and diligent staff.
