New partner appointed at Adam Douglas & Son
Solicitor Claire Skene has been appointed as a new partner at local law firm Adam Douglas & Son.
Alnwick solicitor Claire Skene has been appointed as a new partner at local law firm Adam Douglas & Son.
Originally from the Berwick area, where she attended the town’s high school and then Longridge Towers, Claire studied law at Leeds University before joining Smithson Clarke in 2003 as a trainee solicitor.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and for four years from 2007 was a partner at an Alnwick law firm. Claire specialises in wills, probate and elderly client as well as residential conveyancing. Established in 1894, Adam Douglas, & Son has offices in Berwick, Alnwick and Amble.
“The firm has been looking after the legal needs of generations of people and small businesses in north Northumberland and will continue to do so as the business moves into a new era in its long history,” said Claire.
