THE house builder developing luxury apartments on the seafront at Seahouses has revealed computer generated images of how the new complex will look.

Demolition of the former farm buildings and restaurant at Seafield is underway and Countylife Homes is to begin construction of the 10 properties soon, with completion expected towards the end of next summer.

The stone built two bedroom - two bathroom apartments have a stunning coastal location and offer views out across the North Sea to the Farne Islands, and up the coast to the nearby Bamburgh Castle.

The old structures were initially out buildings to a nearby farmhouse, but had been home to the Seafield restaurant for a number of years before its closure in 2008.

Mike Pattison, managing director at Countylife Homes, said that the wow factor for the new development at Seahouses was the coastal views.

“The secret to our success has been securing extremely desirable locations for our developments,” Mr Pattison said. “What makes this one so special are the absolutely outstanding coastal views.”

County Life Homes seeks prime locations in which to build and has recently completed developments in Corbridge and Hexham, which are now on sale.
