Berwick Shellfish business of year

BERWICK Shellfish, based at Dock Road in Tweedmouth, has been named the winner of the large business category in Berwick Rotary Club’s Business of the Year awards.

The small business prize went to Bella B, the enterprising fashion and wedding shop in Hide Hill.

Berwick Shellfish, run by the Flannigan family, is among the most highly respected on the east coast.

In making the announcement, the Rotary Club secretary said that the winners had been selected from a strong list of contenders.

The awards will be handed over at a club meeting in the near future.
