Equine bedding maker Bedmax is supporting Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) with sponsorship for its hugely successful Racing2Eventing series.
The series is aimed specifically at encouraging ex-racehorse owners into the starter classes of eventing. There are more than 50 classes around the UK to demonstrate how well ex-racehorses can adapt to other disciplines.
RoR runs the series for dressage, showjumping and combined training, plus competitions in pure dressage, showjumping, showing, hunting, polo and endurance.
Bedmax managing director, Tim Smalley said: “We’re proud to be supporting RoR for the fourth year in a row. The charity does sterling work to show that racehorses can go on to have a useful and fulfilling life after they’ve retired from the track.
“Backing RoR gives us the opportunity to give something back and recognise both the potential of ex-racehorses in a variety of disciplines and the hard work and dedication of the people who ride them.”
