Award-winning new recruit for chartered surveyors

Winner of the latest Estates Gazette annual dealmaker award, Darren Naylor has joined local chartered surveying firm Edwin Thompson.

He joins the firm’s commercial property department supporting teams in Berwick as well as a recently opened office in Newcastle.

The award recognises the individual surveyor who has been involved in the most commercial property transactions within the north east throughout the last 12 months.

Darren has extensive experience across the region in both the private and public sectors.

Highly regarded for his commercial approach and expertise, he was previously retained as a consultant on behalf of a variety of companies and organizations including local authorities and a number of high street retailers in the North East.

He follows Edward Seymour who was appointed to the firm’s Berwick residential team in July.

At Edwin Thompson Darren will be involved in a broad range of commercial property matters assisting clients with disposals and acquisitions of commercial properties, investment and development, landlord and tenant matters, property management as well as providing valuations for various purposes.
